About

Hello, my name is Roxana and I am extremely passionate about helping families navigate childbirth and parenting. I am the oldest of three siblings, and my mom is the youngest of 13, so I grew up with 25 cousins and 40 nieces and nephews. From a young age I have always loved babies and had an interest in pregnancy. I remember being just 10 years old and waking up excited in the middle of the night to make a bottle for my newborn sister.

In high school I began babysitting for family and friends, and volunteered at the General Hospital LAC+USC Medical Center, putting in over 2000 hours. I also became a certified nursing assistant. During this time, my goal was to become a Labor & Delivery Nurse or Obstetrician. I graduated high school with honors and went to UC Irvine for 1 year, where I studied Child Development and worked toward becoming an RN. Life happened, and I realized that I loved working and so I dove into a full time career as a nanny. I also assisted in a senior living facility and worked in home health and hospice for 10 years.

At the time, I didn't know about doulas or newborn care specialists. But once I discovered the world of birth and newborn care, I knew this was my passion and the direction I should take my career. I was fortunate to be able to support 6 close friends as they gave birth, and this helped spark my doula career. With over 10 years of childcare experience, now I have and continue to train and educate myself in all things pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and baby. I love helping my clients have empowered birth experiences and gentle transitions into parenthood.

As a doula and NCS I have experience with twins, premature babies, sleep coaching, and more. I bring my passion, skills, and knowledge to this work. I am so excited to meet you and learn more about you and your family's needs.
I'm here to support you through your precious moments, let's chat!
